That We May Live

Jesus Christ is Lord! Jesus Christ is Lord! For unto us a child is born! “He is not here; He is risen, just as He said!” And, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” Jesus Christ has entered our lives, and nothing can be the same again. You are no longer your own; you were bought with a price! And you will find rest for your weary soul, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light. It is simple; it is elegant; it is amazing; it is precise: “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” He is the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Him! He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; and by His wounds we are healed. At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light, and the burden of my heart rolled away! While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us and rose again, and Love lifted me! He is the new covenant written on our hearts and sealed with His Spirit. He is the ransom that has set us free. He is the grace that is greater than all our sins. Once for all by the sacrifice of Himself, He laid down His life and took it up again --- for us! The Son has set us free; and we are free, indeed! We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and are saved! And nothing can snatch us out of His hands. And nothing can separate us from His love. We call on the name of the Lord, and life begins!
You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence. --- Psalm 16:11
For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; He entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence. --- Hebrews 9:24
But now He has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of Himself. --- Hebrews 9:26
After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will restore us, that we may live in His presence. Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge Him.
--- Hosea 6:2-3
