Listen to Him

Jesus Christ is the Truth. The world may imitate and feign and mock and deny Him. But Jesus Christ is the Truth. The world’s “gods” are false and twisted and an offense to God. There is no equivalency; there is no similarity; there is no sameness of substance. They do not just call God by another name. Their imaginings and man-made deities are lies and conveniences of irresponsibility and license made in their own image and have nothing to do with the One True God. “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall have no other gods before Me.” The world even tries to mold Jesus Christ to its liking. But you do not mold God --- God molds you! The Holy Spirit opens our ears and our eyes and our hearts to the Truth. And we know that Jesus is Lord. And we know that the Father gave us His only begotten Son. And we know that there is one way to salvation and forgiveness and mercy and grace. Jesus Christ is that Way. Jesus Christ is that Life. He is the Truth! And by the Spirit, we know the Word and hear His voice and listen with all our heart and mind and soul and strength! We know His voice; we know our Shepherd; we know our Savior; we know our God. We hear; we listen; we trust; we believe. The Truth is written on our hearts, and He is the One who sets us free!

The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to Him.  --- Deuteronomy 18:15

The cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: “This is My Son, whom I love. Listen to Him!”  --- Mark 9:7
