Day 33
“Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy (Romans 13:13, ESV).
Let us walk properly, orderly, and in a way that is fitting for the children of God. We are not ruled by our passions, our appetites, or our ambitions. We are led by the Spirit! One of the fruits of the Spirit is self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), which means that we are not merely subject to instinctive reactions. We are self-controlled as a manifestation of the Holy Spirit that indwells all believers. A true Christians can never say, “I just couldn’t help myself”. Let us walk properly.

Today, spend ten minutes inviting the Holy Spirit to fill you with His self-control, that you might walk properly.
