Good Will Come

Father, I have everything I need, everything I need. You took my heart in Your hands and held on! You surrounded me from the very beginning. You made me the apple of Your eye. All the days of my life were written in Your book before one of them came to be. I awaken to Your voice; I awaken to Your presence. I fall to my knees each day because I am blessed to be with You. And I give You my life; I give You my heart; I give You my soul! I have not nearly enough to give! But You accept me; You take me; You keep me. And I know that I am with You, and I know that there is no place else to be. Jesus has torn open what separated us, and You have placed Your hand and Your Spirit upon me. And everything stands still as I know that You are God! And Your love casts out my fear. Your voice quiets my cry. Your power stops the pain and silences the world. When I have passed through the waters, I have not been swept away; when I have walked through the fire, I have not been set ablaze. You let me run and not grow weary; You let me walk and not be faint. As I hope in You, as I trust in You, as I hold on to You, You renew my strength. You raise me up on wings of eagles. With all my heart, with all my heart, I seek You. You have directed my paths! With all my heart, with all my heart, I find You and know that there is nothing else I need and nothing else that I want and nothing else that I could ever imagine. You are the strength of my heart and my light and my salvation and my portion forever. I give thanks with a grateful heart! I give thanks with the silence of awe! I sing this victory in love! In Jesus’ name, amen.

Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man. Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice. Surely, he will never be shaken; a righteous man will be remembered forever. He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. His heart is secure; he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes.
